چکیده

Using our recently developed Chebyshev expansion technique for finite-temperature dynamical correlation functions we numerically study the AC conductivity σ(ω) of the Anderson model on large cubic clusters of up to 100 sites. Extending previous results we focus on the role of the boundary conditions and check the consistency of the DC limit, ω → 0, by comparing with direct conductance calculations based on a Greens function approach in a Landauer Büttiker type setup.

Modulation Response and Relative Intensity Noise Spectra in Quantum Cascade Lasers

Static properties, relatively intensity noise and intensity modulation response in quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) studied theoretically in this paper. The present rate equations model consists of three equations for the electrons density in the conduction band and one equation for photons density in cavity length. Two equations were derived to calculate the noise and modulation response. Calcula...

بررسی رفتار آشکارساز سوسوزن آرایه رصدخانه البرز با روش شبیه‌سازی مونت کارلو در بستر نرم‌افزاری جیانت۴

For their appropriate temporal resolution, scintillator detectors are used in the Alborz observatory. In this work, the behavior of the scintillation detectors for the passage of electrons with different energies and directions were studied using the simulation code GEANT4. Pulse shapes of scintillation light, and such characteristics as the total number of photons, the rise time and the fallin...

Investigation of Dust-Ion Acoustic Waves in a Magnetized Collisional Dusty Plasma with Kappa Distribution Function for Electrons

The propagation of arbitrary amplitude dust ion acoustic waves (DIAWs) in a magnetized collisional dusty plasma including hot electrons, with kappa velocity distribution for electrons, warm ions and dust particles has been studied. In the presence of immobile massive dust particulates, DIAWs have been investigated through the Sagdeev pseudo-potential method. It is demonstrated that the amplitud...

Design novel optical sensor for determination of bismuth based on immobilization of 4-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-naphthol on a triacetylcellulose membrane

A novel optical sensor has been proposed for sensitive determination of bismuth ion basedon immobilization of 4-(4-nitrophenylazo)-1-naphthol on a triacetylcellulose membrane.Chemical binding of bismuth ions in solution with a 4-(4-nitrophenylazo)-1-naphtholimmobilized on the triacetylcelluse surface could be monitored spectrophotometrically. Theoptode shows excellent response over wide concent...

Investigating the Longitudinal Optical Conductivity in Three-Layer Graphene Systems with Composes Mono-Bi-Bi and Bi-Mono-Bi and Bi-Bi-Mono

The longitudinal optical conductivity is the most important property for graphene-baseddevices. So investigating this property for spatially separated few-layer graphene systems analytically and numerically is the main purpose of our study. Each layer can be mono- or bi-layer graphene. The density-density correlation function has been screened by the dielectric function using the random p...
